Highlights - 4x the resolution, ½ the noise
The HD3 Series Oscilloscopes bring high-performance measurement technology from Keysight's UXR Series into a compact and portable design. With a custom 14-bit ADC, this oscilloscope provides 4x the vertical resolution compared to standard models. The low-noise front-end ensures accurate signal capture, even at full bandwidth.
- Bandwidth options: 200 MHz to 1 GHz.

An oscilloscope with a 12-bit ADC can encode an analog input into 4,096 unique levels of conversion (212 = 4,096). Each additional bit doubles the number of levels of conversion. Oscilloscopes with a 14-bit ADC can encode the analog input into 16,384 levels (214 = 16,384), which is four times the resolution of oscilloscopes with a 12-bit ADC and 64 times the resolution of an 8-bit ADC.
The oscilloscope is capturing a 2uV, -100dBm signal very clearly in our FFT. Connecting this same signal to a competitor’s scope, you would not be able to see it at all because their noise floor is just too high.

Part of the new architecture also includes deep memory with dedicated memory chips for every channel (100 Mpts). This means there is no interleaving between channels. You can have all four channels turned on and still get the maximum memory and sample rate on every channel. - MegaZoom 5 ASIC:
CPU processing has traditionally limited oscilloscope waveform update rates and responsiveness, particularly among competitors. As CPUs handle tasks like interpolations, plotting, and measurements, performance drops. The InfiniiVision HD3 Series overcomes this with the new MegaZoom 5 ASIC.
Customisable interface and Fault Hunter: Automated error detection
With more menus and user customisation, you can set up the scope to suit your exact testing requirements. The custom grid display, favourites bar, and automatic actions make it even easier to dive deep into your characterisation and view results quickly. All models can be upgraded in bandwidth or memory with instant licence upgrades. No return to factory is required for upgrades. All models also come with these standard features:
Fault Hunter Software
Fault Hunter is a specialised software tool for detecting signal errors automatically. It evaluates signal characteristics based on user-defined criteria and generates comprehensive test reports.
