As the global population ages and the number of individuals requiring medical attention increases, there is a growing need for advanced medical equipment. This surge in demand has propelled significant expansion in the medical electronics market, especially for high-end devices like CT scanners, MRI machines, and high-end ultrasonic diagnostic instruments. In response, manufacturers of medical electronic equipment are ramping up investments and fostering innovation to meet these market needs.
Following the development of the medical electronics industry, we offer high-precision, high-speed, high-power-density battery simulators, AC/DC power supplies, AC/DC electronic loads, power analysers, and other test instruments. Our solutions provide accurate, efficient, and energy-saving testing solutions for various medical electronic applications.
Most medical imaging equipment needs to be powered by the public grid, so the equipment is required to maintain a stable working state even when the grid power fluctuates. For instance, during a CT scan, the AC grid power must stay within +6% to -5%, with a consistent voltage of 380V. In hospitals where air conditioners share power lines with medical equipment, frequent AC activations can compromise stability and even cause breakdowns, underscoring the importance of rigorous power supply testing.

AC/DC Power Supply
The high-voltage generator operates by converting the low-frequency and low-voltage AC power into high-frequency and high-voltage power, which can generate high frequency of 500~25000Hz. After rectification and smoothing, voltage fluctuations are minimized to under 1%. This stability is critical for devices like radiation simulators and CT scanners. High-precision voltage stabilization feedback measures are used in high-voltage systems. For instance, the inverter module of a CT scanner's high-voltage generator undergoes testing with a stable DC high-voltage power supply (450V to 550V, ~50kW).

In numerous medical imaging devices, the X-ray and high-voltage generators serve as the foundation, supporting functionalities in equipment such as linear accelerators, radiation simulators, and CT scanners. The high-voltage generator plays a critical role by elevating AC grid power to 140kV through rectification, inversion, and high-frequency modulation, subsequently directing it to the cathode and anode of the X-ray tube. Within the X-ray tube resides a filament requiring preheating. This necessitates a low-power supply delivering 12V and within a 200W range, ensuring optimal operation of the filament for X-ray generation.
